In their 2019 Global MBA Rankings, the Financial Times has ranked the Stanford Graduate School of Business as the #1 MBA program for the second straight year! Harvard Business School closed at #2, with INSEAD and UPenn Wharton finishing at #3 and #4 respectively.

While I do believe the FT MBA Rankings do hold some merit and is one view point for prospective students (especially those looking for programs outside the US), I have never truly trusted the FT rankings. When they first began their Global MBA Rankings, I remember them placing Stanford GSB at between 30-40th place and this would fluctuate yearly. The algorithm used by FT sees large gainers and losers in the spread of a year, which doesn't hold true actually.
The better sources for ranking the MBA programs remain: US News, Bloomberg Business Week, the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, and Poets & Quants.
