From Dream Student To Helping Thousands Dream Bigger
Born and raised in Dubai, I attended Dubai College in grades 7-9 and then transferred to the the American School of Dubai for grades 9-12 high school.
While I was a sharp student in high school, I had no idea how to apply to my dream college: the NYU Stern School of Business.
My Dream: To study Finance & Business in New York City. I was very influenced by Oliver Stone's Oscar Winning movie WALL STREET, starring MichaeI Douglas' Oscar Winning character 'Gordon Gekko' & Charlie Sheen's Wall Street Analyst 'Bud Fox'.
I vividly remember applying to colleges in my senior year of high school- the pressure, the unknown, the misinformation, the lack of information, the paper and pencil SAT testing, the paper and pen college applications. Sitting in my high school counsellor's office with my father, I looked at my counsellor strangely when he said, "You won't get into NYU Stern."
Unshaken by his perspective, I applied and gave it my best. Fortunately, I got into and attended both the NYU Stern School of Business Undergrad in NYC and the NYU School of Professional Studies - I majored in Finance & Liberal Arts, completed my Freshman year in Florence Italy and graduated in the Stern Scholars Program (Top 1% of my Class). At graduation, I worked on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers in New York City.

After working at Lehman Brothers NYC and my family business group in Dubai, I completed my 2-Year Full-Time MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management (Magnificent 7, M7 Program) in Evanston/Chicago, where I triple-majored in Marketing, Management and Finance. I also served on the Northwestern University + Kellogg MBA Admissions Committee and conducted candidate interviews and reviewed candidate applications.
To maximize my MBA experience, I did an MBA International Exchange at the London Business School where I studied Private Equity, Management and Economics.
Post-MBA, I worked as a Marketing Brand Manager at Kraft Foods / Mondelez International Dubai, ran Strategic Planning & Advisory for a global travel company GTA Travel NYC, and ran Strategic Investment Management at American Express NYC.
To further strengthen my leadership and business education, I completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School while working at American Express in New York.
Today, I help talented, ambitious students achieve their higher education dreams—just as I achieved mine. That's why I founded MR. MBA ORG®.
